FAQs

Where is the podcast published?

The podcast is available on Spotify, Apple podcasts, YouTube (audio only), as well as on this website.

Where is the podcast recorded?

The podcast is typically recorded online using Riverside (similar to zoom). Although both audio and video are recorded, I am currently only publishing and editing the audio. I will send you a link to the online studio in the calendar invite.

How is the podcast structured?

The podcast is a Q&A between me (the host) and typically one podcast guest. Please allocate at least 1 hour (preferably with an extra buffer of 5 to 10 mins). After edits, the podcast is typically 45mins+ in length. I will send you a rough outline of the questions in advance.

Is there anything I need to send you in advance?

Please send me a short bio either before or immediately after recording the episode. I record the introduction separately (after the full episode has been recorded) and include a section with your bio and an outline of what we’ll be discussing in the episode. If you have the time, please listen to an episode to get a sense of the format.

Can I make any edits to the conversation?

At any point during the recording, if you would like to re-record or delete a section, just let me know. If there are any factual misrepresentations that you feel must be deleted, you can also let me know immediately after recording. If deleting this information creates a continuity error, we may have to scrap the episode.

Can my marketing team be involved?

Ideally, there is no involvement from any marketing or PR team. This helps me to adhere to a schedule. If it’s absolutely essential to have marketing involved, I can send your marketing team the transcript of the conversation after the recording. I will require any critical edits within a day or two of sharing the transcript. If the marketing team comes back with a heavily edited transcript, we will likely have to delete the episode.

When will the episode be published?

An episode is typically published between 2-14 weeks after recording. I will let you know at least a day before the episode is scheduled to go live. I will also make a LinkedIn post about the episode and tag you.

Is there anything I should do to promote the episode?

If you can please re-post the LinkedIn post about your episode with comments and share it within your networks, that would be hugely helpful. It is also helpful if your company can re-post on its LinkedIn page or other social media outlets.
